Walk & Learn for Parkinson's Wellness Program

Walk & Learn Program for Patients with Parkinson's Disease

Join the Walk & Learn for Parkinson's Wellness Program: A Journey to Better Health and Community Connection, a special eight- week initiative designed to improve the well-being of people living with Parkinson's Disease (PD) and their caregivers. In this program, we focus on a mix of activities to support your physical and emotional wellness while building a friendly community. Each week, participants walk together and have conversations, creating a supportive atmosphere. We will measure how far you walk and your exertion to track your progress. We will target all four pieces of the Parkinson's Exercise Guidelines: high intensity aerobic activity, balance and coordination, strength, and stretching. Led by experienced physical therapists, and dedicated aides, our program ensures expert guidance. Whether you're an experienced walker or just starting, everyone is welcome to join this transformative journey. Visit our website or contact us to enroll in the Walk & Learn program. Let's walk, learn, and build a healthier community together!
